2023 brings us a exciting new schedule and this year we start at Treble Cone.

​

 
We are stoked to be collaborating with Treble Cone for the 2nd year, with a 2* sanctioned Junior Freeride Tour event in the Wanaka region.

With strong coaching programs, packs of riders as wild as homeless Romanian dogs. It is the perfect addition to this strong list of resorts who help host our JFT events.

DATES:

18th, 19th & 20th August will be the weather window. - one day of competition, 3 weather days in total.

EVENT FORMAT

​​

 

14 - 17 years: 1 run only

​

14 - 16 Years: 1 run only

 

Under 14: 1 run only

 

(There may be an under 10 category, numbers dependent)

EVENT SCHEDULE

7.00am - 8.45am - rider check in 

​

9.15am - riders briefing & visual inspection at base of venue (TBC)

​

10.00am - event starts

​

4.00pm - prize giving

​

NOTE:

​

 

The weather window is 3 days! There is potential the Treble Cone event could run

 

Friday/ Saturday or Sunday so please book accommodation and travel

 

accordingly 

​

 

Mother Nature controls freeride and we will only run the event in safe conditions,

 

hence the addition of the 3rd weather day for 2022
