Mt Olympus Freeride Open

Mt Olympus ski area is situated at the southern end of the Craigieburn Range in the Canterbury High Country.
This club field is one of NZ's hidden gems with ideal terrain for a freeride comp.
DATES
10th - 13h September (1 day of competition, 4 possible weather days)
REGISTRATION
1) Registration via Freeride World Tour website
2) You must become a freeride world tour member and fill out a waiver
One event license 10 EURO or season license 35 EURO.
EVENT FORMAT
1 run only, as per Freeride Qualifier event
Visual inspection only
EVENT SCHEDULE (subject to change)
8.00am - 8.45am - rider check in
9.15am - riders briefing & visual inspection at base of venue (TBC)
10.00am - event starts
4.00pm - prize giving
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:
Helmet, Back Protection, Backpack, Avalanche Transceiver, Shovel and probe are mandatory.
Equipment will be checked on comp day and if any piece is missing no competition!
Mouth guard and ABS are not mandatory but highly recommended
NOTE:
Athletes need to be able to ride a nut cracker to access the venue
