Stop #1 - The Remarkables, Queenstown

25th - 27th August. ( Friday inspection day/ possible comp day, Saturday Competition Day, Sunday Weather day)

The second event of the tour is held at the Remarkables, This event is the highest possible sanctioning 3* JFT (below the world championships) & is a huge kick start to the tour for the winners of each catergory.

​

The Remarkables is situated in Queenstown, the extreme sport world capital. It is a long standing supporter of freeriding and offers some of the top competition venues in the country.

​

The NZJFT event will be held the weekend before the TNF Frontier. The timing of the first NZJFT event is so the junior's can potentially watch and inspire to the FWQ and rub shoulders with the top Kiwi athletes.

16 - 18 years: 1 run only

14 - 16 Years: 1 run only

Under 14: 1 run only

Under 10's category (numbers dependent)

7.00am - 8.30am - rider check in

9.00am - riders briefing base of venue

 

9.00am - 9.30am - visual inspection of venue

 

10.00am - event starts

 

4.00pm - prize giving
