The Remarkables is a freerider’s dream, offering natural terrain parks, wide open powder bowls, and challenging chutes — all just a short hike from the lifts. Whether you're a seasoned rider chasing fresh lines or a first-timer keen to explore off-piste, The Remarkables delivers some of New Zealand's best freeride access. With dedicated freeride zones and regular events like the Freeride World Tour Qualifiers, it’s the perfect place to push your limits and experience the same mountain the pros ride.

14 - 16 Years: 1 run only
Under 14: 1 run only
(There may be an under 10 category, numbers dependent)
EVENT SCHEDULE
7.00am - 8.45am - rider check in
9.15am - riders briefing & visual inspection at base of venue (TBC)
10.00am - event starts
4.00pm - prize giving
NOTE:
The weather window is 3 days! There is potential the Remarkables event could run
Friday/ Saturday or Sunday so please book accommodation and travel accordingly.
The Remarkables is also the location for the backup event if for any reason any of the other competitions can't run.
Mother Nature controls freeride and we will only run the event in safe conditions.
